The Changing Seasons

ARE YOU A SPRING, AUTUMN OR HIGH SUMMER HIKER?

This month we are looking at the different seasons and how the landscape changes from spring, through summer to autumn. The menus change too, as the fresh spring vegetables and brightly coloured fruits of  May and June give way to mushrooms, chestnuts , plums and pears in the autumn months.  As we are  now almost completely fully booked for 2018 you will need to turn your attention to the 2019 schedule, and start to think about which season suits you best for food, wine and walking.  We would love to hear from you, as tours are already filling up for next year, and it is never too early to start planning your next holiday!

And if you want to be one of the first to book our NEW TOUR for next year then keep your eyes peeled for the next newsletter.  Research has started on a new high mountain hike which is scheduled to run in June 2019.  More will be revealed next month...

On a final note, two spaces have unexpectedly come free on our gentle Tuscan Harvest hike which runs from September 2nd - 9th.  Start and finish in Pisa, stay in a lavish former Papal villa and taste some of the great wines of Chianti matched with fabulous Tuscan food.  Get in touch soon if you would like to join us!
