First of all we must apologise for a technical failiure last weekend,  12th - 15th October, when our email system went down.  If you tried to contact us during that time and have not received a reply then do please try again as our emails are back up and running and we will respond as soon as possible. We always try to reply to all messages within 24 hours, so we are very sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

Bookings for 2019 are coming in fast and this is a reminder that you can walk with us in Australia if you would like to get a feel for our holidays overseas.  We have three fabulous weekends planned in Victoria's High Country in  February, March and April and you can see all the details via the link below.

Remember too that we are running a series of Information Evenings in Perth in November, and in Brisbane and Sydney in February.  Please book your spot and come along with your walking friends to hear first hand from us all about our hikes in Europe.

Five of the best views in Italy
We are often asked which hike to choose for the very best views in Italy.
Not surprisingly, the answer to this is not an easy one!  It depends whether you love majestic mountains, vineyard vistas or sweeping coastal scenery.  In this month's Blog we have tried to pull together some of our favourites, to help you choose your perfect hike for next year ...

On the Culture Trail
It goes without saying that at Hedonistic Hiking we love food, wine and walking.
But we also include in all our itineraries visits to key cultural sites, whether they be galleries, churches or historic palazzos.  Equally important are local festivals, musical performances and museums, making all of our tours so much more than just a walking holiday.

Walking and Well-Being
In June we were joined by journalist Claire Rawlinson who writes for the UK's Psychologies Magazine.

She joined us on our Jewels of Piedmont tour in northern Italy and you can follow her insights into the link between walking and well-being with the print article, or listen to her podcast here.
